GiveCamp Memphis
5 Years of Visual Storytelling
For 5 consecutive years, I’ve served as the designer for GiveCamp Memphis, an annual tech-volunteer event. The designs evolve the visual identity each year to reflect event milestones while staying true to the GiveCamp Memphis brand.
Illustrating collaboration in the hybrid event, showcasing different participants’ perspectives and the technology connecting them together.
Featuring the Memphis skyline to symbolize the return to in-person collaboration. The arch surrounding the ‘M’ was inspired by the event venue’s architecture- rounded rooms with amphitheater seating.
Embracing a playful, doodle-like quality, reflecting the event “becoming a teenager” celebrating its 13th year. The light bulb and gear represent its innovation and creativity.
One scene, shown from different angles. A redbird was included to honor the passing of a longtime GiveCamp volunteer
Crystal cutouts in the M logo in honor of 15 years. There's a hidden numerical puzzle in the circuit board on the back, which adds up to 15.
