The Challenge
Design the official illustration for the Memphis Hustle’s new mascot, balancing an athletic yet family-friendly persona.
The Strategy
Because the physical costume was being fabricated simultaneously, I collaborated with the costume production team to analyze skeletal structures to ensure the 2D illustrations mirrored the 3D mascot.
The Impact
My illustrations and logo marks served as the primary visual assets for his inaugural promotion, appearing on a wide range of giveaways and fan touchpoints, increasing brand affinity and mascot recognition.
