The Objective: The owners of sister brands Frutanas and Old Town Taco required a t-shirt design to serve as the primary uniform for staff at both locations. The goal was to create a professional yet culturally resonant design that could also be sold as commemorative merchandise at local events.

The Concept: Inspired by traditional Mexican iconography, the illustration centers on a Catrina and Catrín—a symbolic tribute to the husband-and-wife duo behind the businesses. The characters are depicted toasting with signature menu items from each brand, effectively merging the two menus into one visual story. For the front of the shirt, I developed a custom logo lockup that seamlessly blends both business identities into a single, cohesive mark.

The Result: A dual-branded apparel piece that fosters a shared identity among the staff. The design functions as both a functional uniform and a distinctive brand identifier, celebrating the family legacy and cultural roots of the two establishments.
